Jessica Malone
From dimly-lit, solo acoustic songbird confessions to rambunctious & rollicking full-band jubilees, award-winning songwriter Jessica Malone takes listeners on a musical journey with the destination landing somewhere between self discovery and reverie.
Embracing her Northern California roots, Malone blends soulful lyrics with an earnest sound, bringing to life the landscapes of her home.
Her oft-mellifluous, occasionally gritty, and always captivating vocals—accompanied by rich upright bass, heavenly harmonies, and soaring violin—will guide you across a musical terrain of retro soul, indie folk, and Americana vibrations.
Andre Mottershead
For seven years Andre has entertained audiences in Marin County and San Francisco and clubs, bars, restaurants, farmer’s markets and festivals. Originally from Britain, Andre will take a good rock song and folk it up. He plays the likes of Hendrix, Knopfler, The Kinks, The Stones, sea shanties, country. He now makes his home in Dunsmuir.
Sound Farm
Based on Mt. Shasta, California, Sound Farm featuring Ken Nelson and friends offers rock, jazz and funk music inspired by beautiful Northern California.

About Siskiyou Humane
“The Siskiyou Humane Society exists to improve the lives of companion animals by sheltering, rehabilitating, reducing pet overpopulation and finding permanent homes. We promote responsible pet ownership, kindness to animals and enhancement of human-animal relationships through education and outreach.”
Since its founding in 1968, the Siskiyou Humane Society Adoption Center in Mt. Shasta has provided rescue and refuge for hundreds of homeless cats and dogs every year. The shelter’s staff and volunteers take special pride in getting to know the animals as individuals. Because they are familiar with the personalities of the shelter cats and dogs, they can help potential adopters find the best matches for their families and lifestyles. All pets adopted from SHS are vaccinated, spayed and neutered and given permanent micro-chip identification.
Siskiyou Humane Society is a “no-kill” facility, animals aren’t euthanized because they’ve been in the shelter for too long, or to make room for more animals, but are cared for until they find new homes. Preventing pet over-population is a big part of the Society’s mission statement. The shelter provides information and referrals for low-income Spay/Neuter assistance programs in Siskiyou County. SHS also offers humane education presentations for schools, youth groups and service organizations with topics like dog-bite prevention and kindness to animals. SHS also operates a Community Pet Resource Center in Yreka, where we provide pet owners with vital resources such as free microchips, a pet food pantry and supply essential pet supplies to owners in need of support.
As a private, 501(c)(3)non-profit animal welfare organization, the shelter receives no funding from government agencies or national humane organizations. Most of the funding comes from private donations, grant funding and the sales at the Humane Society’s thrift store in Mt Shasta.
